My lessons are similar to that of a university tutorial but catered to the age to which I am teaching. I find that this style of teaching opens up discussion and helps a student think for themselves while still teaching the key information and covering any gaps in their knowledge. The hope is that after finishing a lesson, my student should be able to go away and apply such knowledge themselves, whether that is to any exam question or in class. Moreover, lessons should be fun and engaging, not just simply relaying information. I want my students to feel confident in their knowledge and abilities while also having a good time.
