Brigitta Darko

My name is Brigitta and I am currently a third year French & Italian student at the University of Manchester. I currently have an C1/C2 level in French and Italian as I was raised in Italy and often visited French speaking countries during my lifetime. I have 3 years experience of tutoring from Italian to English and viceversa and from French to English. Moreover, because of my position as a languages ambassador at university, I have been working a lot with pupils of primary school, secondary schools and A-levels. I firmly believe a plan is always needed in tutoring, therefore I plan on setting goals and ways to achieve these goals on the first lesson. Moreover, I am also a firm believer of following up and therefore after the lesson I plan on assigning small tasks that will keep the student in contact with the language. Having done my A-levels in London I am well aware of the different exams boards such as AQA and Edexcel and I will also be doing research into the other exam boards if that is what my student needs. Overall, one of the main things I am hoping to achieve with my lessons is letting people have fun whilst studying. We all have different studying needs and therefore I am looking forward to help you discover the best studying method for you.
