Hi! I have 18 years of experience in education. I taught mathematics in grades 6-8 and Algebra I prior to teaching in higher education. I am certified in Math, Science, Social Studies, and ELART and have taught methods courses in higher education for approximately 13 years. I have a deep knowledge of the core subjects and strive to take an interdisciplinary approach in my teaching. I focus on making the content relevant through responsive approaches. I have 5 degrees (B.S. in Kinesiology; Master degrees in Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education, and Sociology; a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction).
