I have a lot of tutoring experience of teaching English as a foreign language as well as teaching English and maths from primary all the way to GCSE level.
My lessons usually involve a high level of engagement through small steps to make significant progress. This is usually pupil led.
Games and activities are explored improve engagement and involvement. Each lesson is specific for each pupil and tailored to their needs.
