My lessons focus on helping my students really understand tough concepts by working from the ground up. I have a lot of experience tutoring and mentoring A level and GCSE students and I find that gaining an intuitive understanding of hard concepts removes any frustration and means that no matter what sort of question you encounter, you'll be able to tackle it like a pro! (This also means less memorising formulae :D).

I hope to show my students that maths is not only intuitive but also incredibly satisfying when it clicks.

The general structure of my lessons is to go through the basics of a given concept, complete some worked examples and then allow the student to have a go at some on their own. I find that this really helps reinforce the information so that you'll never forget it, especially in an exam!
