Hello! I am a new but enthusiastic tutor looking to start tutoring. I have a Master degree in History and Politics from the University of Edinburgh. Throughout university I focussed on European History, British political and colonial history, American History and race history, as well as many other areas. I also have further background in Scottish History broadly, as well as modern studies and politics subjects. I hope to bring enthusiasm to my lessons as a tutor, and I am able to bring the best out of students and people I am teaching. I will work closely to ensure a tailor made learning plan is made, by spending some time at the beginning of the lesson/s finding out areas of strength and weakness, and the desired improvement. Setting a goal will help to ensure that the content will be tailored towards this, whether it be gaining a level of proficiency or something more measurable such as improving grades.

Overall I am great to work with and will be committed to achieving the best possible outcome, I have lots of flexibility in doing this and can communicate well. I am skilled in understanding and recognising someones strengths and weaknesses, and how they learn and will adopt different approaches depending on this to ensure the lesson is best suited for them. I have a friendly approach, am easy to work with, and will commit my resources and time to ensure the goals of the student are met in the best possible manner for an enjoyable tutoring experience.
