Hello and welcome to my page!

My name is Bianca, I am a Psychology university student who is passionate about helping other students achieve their full potential in English Literature & Language. I would describe myself as friendly, outgoing and chatty.

I have previous experience in tutoring from face to face sessions and decided to start on FindTutors in order to reach a wider audience. I plan to help as many students as I can with their revision, homework and exam prep for upcoming assessments and finals.

My teaching style is simple yet effective; Firstly, I strive to ensure that students feel comfortable at the beginning of their sessions. I love a good chat to create a informal, non-judgemental environment where the student can feel free to express themselves. It's super important to feel confident in yourself and your abilities!

Teaching-wise, for example: I like using mindmaps to engage the student and brainstorm ideas before planning responses. I focus heavily on recall, ensuring that your child remembers all the necessary information in exams in order to succeed, e.g. through the use of online flashcards and interactive games.

I have previous knowledge of English Literature texts such as The Handmaid's Tale, Death of a Salesman, Othello, Romeo & Juliet, and so much more!
