Begin with learning objectives for that specific lesson and what needs to be achieved. Look at and review content until students understand it and test how well they have understood it with quizzes and exam questions. Identify strong and weak topic areas and review weak topics again until student is confident and feels they are in a good place and know content within the specification well.
