Apart from routine activities done in the opening minutes of a lesson such as taking attendance, there are many ways I can spice up the beginnings of the lessons.
In a flipped classroom approach, homework content can be delivered in many forms. This may include, discussion boards, a research task, or reading and listening texts. The homework can be done through activities such as discussions or quizzes.
A Jeopardy-style game works great for reviewing previous lessons because I can choose the topics I want them to practice.
I can use photos, drawings, cartoons, paintings, symbols, flashcards, magazine ads, videos, audios etc in teaching methodology.
I believe assigning roles is an effective strategy for group discussions. Possible roles may include: manager, recorder and presenter.
I can give brain storming activities, games, multimedia activities and Microsoft assignments to sharpen the skills of students.
I would approach different teaching methods such as lecture based, technology based , group and individual , inquiry based , kinesthetic ,
expeditionary , game based, differentiated instruction based leaning and so on..
I can consult with more advanced professionals, gain feedback from students and parents, be adaptable and reliable and will teach a topic in three different way.
