Previously I have taught Primary school children English and Maths for the SAT'S. I have seen my students develop into excellent mathematicians and succeed very well and beyond their expectations in their SAT'S.

I am a firm believer of letting the student control the lesson. Whatever topic they want to do and whatever they are struggling with i'll base it around that. I think its very important to do what the Student wants to do instead of planning your own lesson because that could be a waste of time.

My lessons are designed to be interactive and student-centered, ensuring that learners are actively involved in the process. I start by assessing each student's current understanding and identifying areas that need improvement. Based on this initial assessment, I create a customised learning plan that targets these specific areas while also reinforcing strengths.

A typical lesson involves a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent work. I use a variety of teaching tools, such as multimedia resources, interactive activities, and real-world examples, to make complex concepts more accessible and engaging. My approach emphasises critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encouraging students to apply what they have learned in practical contexts.

Regular feedback is a cornerstone of my tutoring methodology. I provide constructive feedback on assignments and tests, and I also encourage students to reflect on their own progress. This helps build confidence and fosters a growth mindset. Additionally, I maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and suggesting strategies to support learning at home.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to explore, make mistakes, and learn from them. Through patience, encouragement, and tailored instruction, I aim to help each student achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong love for learning.
