I would describe myself as a very hands-on tutor with the sole motive of pushing my students to achieve their full potential. I usually prefer online lessons but in person sessions are also an option. I like to start off my lessons with the basic theory, then apply this theory by answering practice questions at the end of the session as I find the best way to prepare for exams is to answer questions that are test-like. However, I also believe it is important to tailor every lesson to the student’s s needs. I use whiteboards to demonstrate examples and also online websites such as bitesize to further help illustrate what I am teaching.

I have over 3 years tutoring experience where I have come to learn the needs of each student and continue to learn new things that will benefit the student. I have successfully guided a number of students through GCSE and A level economics, GCSE Maths and GCSE English. For example, with my first ever student, who was my friend I volunteered to tutor for free, I pushed his Economic grade from a D to a B with only a month of tutoring.
I feel I can personally relate to the students I teach having successfully navigated through the challenges of A levels and GCSEs.

Each subject I teach is slightly different with similar fundamentals. For economics I reference a lot of beliefs of different economists as there are many different viewpoints within this subject. For Maths, as previously mentioned first teaching then applying this to practice questions to consolidate knowledge is my preferred method of teaching.

Whether it is unraveling the complexities of Economics or mastering Mathematical concepts I am committed to providing comprehensive support for every student I tutor.
