I have 18 years experience of working with students who are 14 plus years and above that may present with some barriers to learning and education, such as Autism, Communication barriers, Mental Health, and learning disabilities. Learners that have been out of education for some time and would like to refresh in their maths and English.
My lessons are interactive, person centred and aimed at destination progression, whether that be into further education or preparation for employment.
I can help with CV building, Interview Skills, completing application forms and job searching.
I use a multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning and believe that the student is central to planning, delivery and learning outcomes. Setting short term and long term targets through collaboration with the student is key to regular reflection, feedback and progression.

My lessons include, debates/discussions, quizzes, interactive activities, and a range of assessment methods to check and consolidate learning.

I am able to teach math's and English up to level 2 (GCSE), Employability skills and personal and social development.
