am a Certified Senior Career Counselor who was working in reputed leading group of schools in Trivandrum ,Kerela.(for more than 22years).I have lived my life so far with the Motto - Change your life and be the change in others life's. As the Career Counsellor in Charge , I successfully set up and coordinated the Career Guidance Activities for three Schools following different syllabuses (CBSE,ICSE and State).In these years, I have successfully guided, motivated and trained students both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate course in India and Abroad and through life's rough paths.

I am a qualified with MA Social Work and M.Phil in Education with good grades and have decades of experience working in the Education and Counselling Sector .Previously I have also worked in the IT Sector as Center Sales and Administration Manager ,Mentor ,Trainer and .This academic year,I have been working as a Personal Interview Evaluator for Undergraduate and Post Graduate (Admissions) ,KREA University,Chennai ,India My motivation comes from my own Career journey -.After succeeding in Civil Service Prelims in 1989.

Working here I saw the need for Career Counselors and Mentors for School and College going students and moved to a leading School which provided me with the opportunity to develop a Career Counselling Center which would cater to the Career needs of three schools.

The Counselling Center was modeled as vibrant place to assist students and parents of the three schools to collect details about Careers ,Courses and Colleges in India and Abroad .and help students with SOPs ,LORs and Common App .Guidance and Aptitude tests were used to ensure success in the fields chosen. By providing data driven and goal oriented counselling I was successful in counselling 1200 students every year. Counselling students also includes assisting students in times of Stress ,Relationship Issues ,Study problems and Behavior Transformation and Time Management .I am certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy .

As a part of my job I am also involved in Training / Mentoring students on topics - Communication and Life Skills ,Interview Prep and Group Discussions and Trainee Bed Teachers on topics like Classroom Etiquette and Manners, Stress Free Disciplining. I also conduct Motivational classes for students as a preparatory for Exams and as Career Preparatory sessions. I have recently started forays into recruitment through my student network . Counselling has enabled vet client background information in a subtle and non stressful manner.

I frequently upgrade myself with new courses and skills. I have recently completed Training on Future skills of Disruption ,New Age Communication for Teachers and Trainers and another one on Career Counselling from CBSE). I am networked with leading Universities and IT Companies with whom I collaborate to conduct Webinars and talks in various career fields. I do extensive research on new Courses, Careers and Universities in India and Abroad

.I am familiar with Google Meet and Zoom as I use them frequently. I am a Google Certified Educator and able to upgrade to new Technologies if the need arises..I have experience working with CRMs like Mettl and Merrito.

M Phil Research in Adult Education in which An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Kerela Model Literary Programme .I have been a part of the CBSE Aptitude test- Tool testing team and also created two tools to test Work Values and another on Study Stress Identification in school students which is used as a Pre-Counselling Tool I was also was successful in Planning and Implementing in A Career Counselling syllabus structure which could effectively be incorporated into an academic year for the three schools .I live in India and therefore would like to work in the IST time.
