My lessons are desgined around the individual and what they need to succeed. I base my tutoring on what specific areas you requies help with to not make lessons overwhelming. The structure of my lessons starts with a informal discussion on what you've been working on lately and what has been easy and hard for you. From there we can dive deeper into the material you find challenging or difficult to understand. My lessons invovle working through examples together and then providing you with questions to try out independently. I'll also clarify any concepts or details you don't fully understand - no question is a silly one and asking them is encouraged!
At the end of classes we'll review what we've discuessed and I'll assess your knowledge by asking you to describe the material in your own words. Don't worry, this is not a formal test or anything of the sort.
Additionally, in lessons I'll also provide insights into what exam markers are looking for and how to easily incorporate writing techniques and other methods to take your work to the higher grades. In exam season I'm also happy to provide revision materials and help you commit knowledge to memory for the exam.
My lessons are fun and relaxed where we can take our time to really understand the content and develop great exam technique.
