I offer bespoke 1-1 support for A-Level Chemistry Students of all ages and abilities. Each tutoring session is tailored to the individual and appropriate resource material will be supplied to help support the student both during the sessions and after. I am flexible in my approach and each tutoring session will be different to keep the students engaged and eager to learn.

I have 10+ years experience in private teaching Alevel and GCSE students of all abilities successfully helping them all achieve their target grades or higher.

I personally feel the only way tutoring works is if it is enjoyable. I make sure I find out how the students likes to learn so I can tailor it to their needs and also discuss this with the parents. I am happy to support with homework and assessment, as well as helping the student get ahead of the teaching in class so they feel more confident in the class room.

I like to do past papers and workbooks with students but also find my own questions just as helpful as they are unseen situations. I adapt to my situation differently with each student to make it a personal tutoring session. Sessions are mainly completed online now using Zoom and an online whiteboard, where I will teach using a virtual pen. All notes can be downloaded and sent to the student so they can focus on the session rather than worrying about writing everything down. Homework can be set if required and I will happy mark it in advance of the following session.
