Beth Palmer

I am an IELTS tutor from the UK with significant classroom and online experience. I have a Cambridge CELTA teaching qualification for teaching English as a foreign language to adults, and a First degree (with honours) in International Studies. I am also an aspiring IELTS examiner.

I love teaching international students and professionals to speak English. I am very patient and I always speak slowly and clearly. In my lessons, I will help you develop your confidence, reduce your accent and learn new vocabulary as well how to use it in context. I use course materials to focus on the key elements of spoken English: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, intonation and clarity. I will also correct your grammatical errors, and help you sound more natural, professional and coherent.

I enjoy teaching beginners and intermediate level students, particularly from Asia and Europe. Many of my current students are Japanese, Korean and Chinese professionals, but I also enjoy coaching prospective university candidates from other countries.
