As a TEFL certified ESL teacher with 4 years experience teaching English in various countries, I am a very confident and active tutor.
I like to incorporate lots of fun speaking activities, debates, projects and games to create a well-rounded learning experience.
When planning my lessons I focus on what aims we would like to achieve, and work towards this with our activities in the lesson.
I love to find out what my students passions and interests are, and use this to base my lesson around!
That way it’s much more engaging for my students, and they feel confident and happy to get involved.
During my time living in Vietnam I taught many fantastic students, including a grade 2 class at a wonderful Bilingual school in Hanoi. I learned how to use lots of simplified language, body language and visuals to communicate with learning that have very basic English language skills. This is something that I always think about what teaching young learners.
Finally, I have learned during my years of teaching that the best and most productive classes are FUN! My students love to come to class and we really become great friends.
