I love to take a very interactive approach to learning so this would entail you (the pupil!) getting involved and not just listening to me!

We would utilise aspects of your interests such as movies and music to learn English in a way that is both effective and fun. An example of this could be that we can engage in conversation about a topic of your choice (such as a movie) and develop your conversational skills in the process.

Depending on your starting level, we can go in stages starting with the basic vocabulary "toolkit" to help with most conversations and progress to a point where you have built a respectable vocabulary and confidence in speaking and listening to English!

We can also focus on developing your accent to sound more like a native speaker and help your speech "flow".

To aid in speech we can utilise different types of strategies such roleplays of common scenarios in English and help you gain the confidence to use your knowledge.

For writing we can focus on the different styles of writing, from basic texts to writing letters and formal emails depending on your end goal.

I have experience teaching English and Maths to individuals from a range of skill levels and ages 4-16. Of course if you have suggestions or specific ideas of how you would like to learn I am all ears :)

My style of learning places you at the centre and we will focus on a method that works for you.
