Before My first tutor session, we will have a meet the tutor session, where we can establish what the student needs, what barriers the student is facing, what exam board they are sitting and what topics they need help with. After this I can begin to structure the students tutoring sessions, i will run through exams and set problems and questions to challenge the student in the target areas, i may also set homework in that topic for the student to complete. Once I am certain the student has developed an understanding of the topic, I will move on.
