Hi! My name is Ben. In my lessons, I will aim to deliver as much information as possible whilst still keeping lessons entertaining, especially for younger learners. I currently teach year seven French, so I have knowledge in delivering this type of work, where it is entertaining enough for students. If in person, I will likely bring worksheets as well as a presentation, if online I will use presentations, along with sites like ‘Quizlet’ to test knowledge. I will focus on what students are struggling with, if they need help with certain aspects, and if not then I will do a general overview to see what their strengths and weaknesses are. I like to work on improving the weaknesses of students, however, if they feel they have something I’m not covering that they would like me too, I’d like to make it clear that they may request anything they’d like for me to go over, as long as it is related to the subject. For older students, I’ll likely do vocabulary tests once every few lessons to see what information they’re retaining, and allow them to pick words that they feel they’re not understanding/remembering as much as others to put into the tests. I aim for my lessons to be a fun yet educational environment for all, and I will treat all learners equally regardless of ability or background. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’m always open to tutor more students (preferably surrounding the French Language.) Thank you for reading :)
