My teaching pedagogy has been developed over a number of years to create a holistic approach to teaching. Each individual has different needs and it’s my job to find the best way to embed knowledge for you. We will work together to give you the best education and have fun doing so. Education without a bit of fun is very bland indeed.

In order for us to find what works best for you, we will explore lots of different techniques from arts and crafts, to sport and even just going to the shops. We will find innovative and creative ways to find what works.

In terms of assessment, we will look to have formative informal assessments as we go through our time together with a tailored version of summarise assessment toward the end of our time together.

My past employment has given me a wide range of experiences, from my time at working for a sports charity in deprived areas, working for a professional football club, a high end sports and leisure gym and an FE college and sixth form. This has allowed me to hone my teaching skills and practice. Allowing me to give you the best opportunity to succeed.

My current employment is as a student achievement mentor and sports tutor in an FE college, focussing on the need to get students prepared for life outside of college after education. Educating them on how we address people, being tolerant, using correct pronouns and being respectful. It all comes from the language we use
