I have experience working in schools as a teacher, where I gathered and curated resources and learnt some amazing methods of teaching from amazing teachers. My method tends to lean more towards having a go at tasks without help first to see where you are and then going through what you find difficult and having another go. This I have found works best for students. I am also a big fan of trying to make learning fun e.g. some jokes, some fun videos to watch and just some science based games to help retain focus whilst keeping on topic. The more fun and engaging something is the easier it is to retain information. I am also happy to adapt this to whatever suits the student best. I am a specialise in science, specifically in chemistry, but I can teach all three to GCSE and can even teach Maths to GCSE level! I am also competent in teaching psychology, which is a subject I enjoy and completed to A-Level which for me was not too long ago! I have a passion for science and I would love to share that with students and help those who perhaps find science and mathematics more challenging than other subjects to succeed in the subjects and show that they do not have to be the boring subjects they believe them to be! I am a tutor around my other job, however I am able to make sure that I am always free at certain times in order to keep a regular schedule.
