-I like to allow students to express their interests. This way, they are more likely to be motivated to learn and improve. I am not a supporter of the standardised formal teaching dynamics in schools which I find often limits the progression of students. I used these techniques in an independent school where I taught Spanish for over a year. I myself as an example, became fluent in Spanish after leaving school, where I found my bridge to the world of Spanish through exploring topics I never was taught in school.
