I have many years of one an one tutoring experience in foreign language teaching. I would make lessons as interactive as they can be to be sure there is a balance of practicing and revising while overcoming any insecurities or challenges on your learning journey.
My experience is that with positive feedback and encouragement, learners naturally grow their confidence and also competence in learning a new language.
The content of a tutoring lesson is many times just according to the learners current needs but I can also bring more resources when it's evidently needed to progress in specific areas of the language.
When I see the need of more practice in certain areas I could help by providing more learning resources and trying out different learning approaches together. As I have been a languange learner for many years I have some experience in finding new approaches and also supporting other learners to do so.
I am happy to check any work the learner produces before and after seeing me and to set further learning goals with them to continually practice and progress on their path of acquiring more language skills and understanding of the language they acquire.
