Hello my name is Ben and welcome to my beginner guitar lessons! My goal is to make your journey into music fun, engaging, and approachable, no matter your starting point. Whether you’ve never picked up a guitar before or are just learning the basics, these lessons are designed with you in mind.

We’ll begin with the essentials: learning how to hold the guitar, proper hand positioning, and tuning your strings. From there, I’ll introduce simple chords and strumming patterns to get you playing music right away. I believe in learning through doing, so we’ll focus on playing easy, familiar songs that build your confidence and keep you motivated and I will learn you songs that are in line with your music taste.

Each lesson is structured to balance technique and creativity. We’ll practice skills like switching between chords, maintaining rhythm, and reading basic chord charts or tablature. Along the way, I’ll share tips to help you avoid common challenges and develop good habits from the start.

My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, flexible and customized to your goals. If you’re excited to play your favorite songs, I’ll show you how to break them down into achievable steps. I’ll also introduce simple music theory concepts to help you understand the “why” behind the music, making your learning experience richer and more rewarding.
