I have a bachelors degree in Physics from the University of Glasgow, ample tutoring experience, and an infectious enthusiasm for learning! I believe that every student is unique and deserves a learning experience that works for them. Maths and Physics have a fearsome reputation but can be made easy and even enjoyable with the right guidance!

I plan on tailoring sessions to your own goals and preferred learning style. If your aim is to keep up with class that you are struggling in, then we can spend time going over topics that you found confusing in order to find gaps in your understanding and then work through them at a pace that suits you. Because Maths and Physics build so heavily on previous concepts, it is essential to get to grips with ideas before trying to move on. If you are looking for a head start on your upcoming classes, then we can work on exercises and examples which will help to introduce the key concepts. New and unfamiliar topics can feel daunting and having some idea of what kind of real world problems your new techniques are trying to solve will help learning feel more intuitive.

During my degree I tutored first year students in Physics at Glasgow University over zoom and in person. I also tutored A Level / Advanced Highers students in the Glasgow University Summer School over zoom.

I am able to tutor over zoom or in person if you stay in Glasgow. I am able to meet at my flat in the east end, a café, or your home if it is accessible with public transport.
