I am able to help A-Level Geography students understand challenging topics and improve their exam performance.
I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level (Geography, Biology, and Psychology) and recently graduated with First-Class Honours in Geography from the University of Leeds. During my degree, I received academic prizes for achieving the top results in my cohort and for my dissertation, which is currently nominated for a national award.
My journey wasn’t always smooth. I remember finding GCSEs challenging and struggling with the transition to A-Levels, particularly with essays and exam-style questions. These experiences pushed me to change my approach at A-Level, refining my essay-writing and short-answer techniques. This not only helped me succeed at A-Level but also proved invaluable throughout my degree. Because of this, I understand the difficulties students face and aim to support you in the most effective way possible to help you achieve the best grade you can.
I still have all my notes, essay plans, and textbooks from studying the CIE exam board. That said, my degree has equipped me to assist students across all exam boards, covering every aspect of Geography.
My teaching style is adaptable to suit your needs. Some students prefer a structured approach that aligns closely with the topics covered in class, while others benefit from having a supportive guide to help refine essays or push their work to the top band. I’m flexible and understand that everyone seeks tutoring for different reasons. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you succeed in the way that works best for you.
