I’m a hard working tutor who wants the best for his pupils. I’m supportive and willing to go the extra mile for students to give them the best chance of success. I believe maths is a subject everyone can become fluent at, and with the right support all students can achieve a high grade. My teaching style involves understanding content deeply then applying this to the problems that need to be solved.
I’ve achieved all grade 9s in my GCSEs and two A*s and an A in my A levels. I currently study maths at the University of Bath, where I am in my first year of a masters degree. In secondary school I attended extra maths problem solving lessons and competed in the UKMT maths challenges.
In terms of experience, during secondary school I tutored younger students who needed to receive extra support with maths. I’ve also been a peer mentor to other students in school, helping with their homework and problems.
I believe I’m a good tutor for all students as I’m patient and understand that fluency with maths comes with time and practice. I have experience when it comes to doing well in maths exams and can help others achieve the grades they want and deserve.
