My philosophy behind teaching is one of interactive learning and active problem solving techniques built on a strong foundation of the basic principles of the language. Once our foundation is established, we can look to target areas of weaknesses by designing specific lessons and case studies to improve our understanding of this area. I aim to tailor lessons to the students experience and confidence ensuring they are challenged enough to continually develop their skills but not to the extent they are overwhelmed by the content. I will prepare lessons plans prior to class and students can let me know if they are areas of interest they would like to explore in their language journey. I can also help individuals preparing for specific events such as job interviews and English exams. I have an in-depth understanding of the terms and jargon used in the business world and can provide a useful guide to foreign nationals and companies looking to enter to the UK market. To summarise, the lessons provided by myself are customised as no two students are the same and require different methods and strategies for learning. I am available primarily online, in-person lessons are available too subject to location.
