I am a qualified and passionate teacher of secondary art and design, and have been teaching, tutoring and delivering workshops for around 3 years now.
I offer tutoring to all ages and abilities, and can tutor GCSE and A-Level art and design and/or photography students to ensure you achieve the best grade possible. I have a strong record of teaching success and getting high grades, and can provide references.

I currently run a website for my students, which is public and can be found at bjohnson.uk. It contains artist research directories and pages of terminology to both aid with writing and to encourage my students to branch out into a variety of techniques and practices, and is updated my myself at least fortnightly.

I am trained and certified in child health and safeguarding, SEN adaptation and english as additional language learners. I am absolutely happy to accommodate for any additional needs or requirements for students.

My Bachelor of Arts degree specialised in Fine Art, specifically painting and traditional applications like oils and tempera. I have secure knowledge across a variety of other creative mediums and would be happy to teach any of these. This includes acrylics, watercolours, gouache, observational drawing, experimental drawing, and 3D processes too such as pottery and jewellery making.

I am a native English speaker, and would be happy to help you to refine your conversational speaking skills, and grammar and writing skills - this can be separate or combined with art tutoring.
