I hope to get to know you as a student, whether you're looking for help to achieve a qualification at any level or looking to develop a new hobby, and cater the lessons I offer to you. I hope to get to know you as a student, whether you're looking for help to achieve a qualification at any level or looking to develop a new hobby, and cater the lessons I offer to you. I would like to understand where you are at with your art practise and what you'd like to achieve whilst I work with you, this can be discussed in an initial meeting and I can plan from there; thinking if there is an official deadline for you (like school or GCSE or A Level etc).
I can offer online based video calls for tutoring, however this can be difficult when teaching art as it is a practical subject and in life demonstrations of skills/ techniques is always helpful, so if possible in person would be easier for me and more beneficial for you! Content of course is heavily relied on your course and if not aiming for a qualification then I can give you a wide variety of subject knowledge and cover lots of bases around the subject of Art- art history and movements, as well as key styles and ideas today. I can also offer specific subject knowledge, developing on your own interests and giving a wider view; whatever is more suited to what you want to achieve.
If you're working towards a qualification like GCSE or A Level, I would like to know your course provider e.g. AQA, Edexcel, OCR. to then cater to what they ask for in the syllabus and make sure you have the best chance of achieving the best grade for you.
I have worked as a teaching assistant from nursery to sixth form ages for over 2 years, and have most recently successfully tutored a student to achieve an art scholarship at their secondary school.
