I have an HBSc in physiology and a Master of Engineering in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto. I have taught online chemistry courses to high school and undergraduate students for 2 years, and I have professional tutoring training and experience doing Teaching Assistant jobs at UofT. From my degrees, I have continuously been immersed in advanced teaching environments and learning experiences, and am now able to incorporate those into my own teaching styles. I like to teach my students visually by sharing my screen and making simple illustrations. I am also good at making presentations for lecture materials if required. I can do exam preps, homework guides, fresh-up reviews, and a preview of course materials, etc.
I am a patient, enthusiastic, and helpful guide who will lead students to their success by acknowledging their ways of learning. I will always put students' needs as a priority and accompany their learning journey throughout. I have received many reviews from my previous students for being very supportive and making them feel comfortable discussing questions with me. I am eager to share my knowledge with people and being a currently active academic student makes me passionate about learning myself.
Please feel free to contact me whether you have any general inquiries about my profile, my teaching style, or even my learning experience from the past several years, and I am happy to share them all with you. I look forward to incorporating the current advanced ways of technology to address student learning experiences, meanwhile bringing myself the feeling of achievement and fueling the way of offering teaching to more students in the future.
