Hey there! My name is Beckett, and I am a recent chemical engineering graduate from Imperial College London where I achieved a 1st class degree. I began my A Levels as a C grade student but after refining my study techniques and developing my resources, I went on to achieve A*s in both Mathematics and Chemistry. I then went on to study these subjects further at university level where I built a deeper knowledge from which I hope to utilise to help you feel confident in even the most difficult concepts. By now I consider myself an exam veteran and I want to pass on my skills and expertise to help you achieve your maximum academic potential. I am upfront, honest and welcome constructive criticism if it means I can help you in your learning.

I have two years of in person teaching experience in mostly teaching Chemistry, Mathematics and various other chemical engineering modules. I am now looking to venture into the online world to start tutoring at a A Level and GCSE level. I like to use visual aids to build a set of notes with my tutees from which they can continue to study with. I use an iPad to draw out diagrams and work through problems with my tutees and I aim to develop a deep understanding of the concepts before adapting this so that it can be applied in an exam situation. I prepare and go through past exam questions to iron out any misunderstandings and identify key areas for improvement for us to build on. My tutoring sessions are aimed at GCSE/A Level students and are 1hr in length.

Please reach out if you have any questions or want to book an introductory session!
