My name is Beatriz Lopes, and I would like to express my enthusiasm and interest in potential
opportunities at your company. I consider myself a highly creative, enthusiastic, and ambitious
individual who is exceptionally organized and always in pursuit of new challenges. I have a
passion for languages, different cultures, and a deep love for traveling. My academic
background includes a bachelor's degree in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures with a Minor
in Communication and Culture from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Lisbon.
Additionally, I had the privilege of participating in the Erasmus program in Italy during my final
year of undergraduate studies, which allowed me to gain insights into the fields of
Communication, Marketing, and Advertising while enhancing my language and interpersonal
skills.
My academic journey continued with a master's degree in Communication, Culture, and
Information Technologies at ISCTE in Lisbon. I successfully defended my master's thesis, which
focused on the issue of gender inequality in television news presentation. This academic
achievement culminated in the publication of my research in an academic journal. In August
2023, my academic article titled "Revisiting Asymmetries in the Representation of Portuguese
Women News Anchors" was published in the "Women's Studies" journal by Taylor & Francis
Online. This article is based on my master's thesis, which I presented in 2020.
