Throughout my lessons, I focus on creating a clear, structured, and supportive learning environment. Each session is tailored to the student’s individual needs, whether that involves reinforcing core biological concepts, preparing for exams, or developing critical thinking skills. I aim to teach by building on each student’s strengths and adopting flexible learning methods that best suit their needs.

Lessons typically begin with a brief review to consolidate previous knowledge before introducing new topics. I incorporate diagrams, real-world examples, interactive discussions, and active participation to make complex biological processes easier to understand. I regularly include practice questions, exam-style exercises, and mini-assessments to build confidence and assess steady progress. I believe the best way to learn is by talking through concepts and visualizing them, so I design lessons with strong visual aids, flowcharts, and diagrams to make abstract ideas more accessible and memorable.

I am currently completing my undergraduate degree in Immunology at the University of Edinburgh and have developed a strong foundation across a range of biological sciences, from molecular biology and genetics to physiology and immunology. My academic background, combined with my experience as a private tutor in chemistry and mathematics for high school students, has helped me develop strategies to explain concepts in an accessible and engaging way, adapting to different learning styles. I have successfully helped students achieve their academic goals and improve their grades.

Above all, my aim is to foster a deep understanding, critical thinking, and appreciation of learning, making the learning process both enjoyable, effective, and rewarding for every student.
