My name is Beatrice Barone, I’m 23 and I’m from Tuscany, Italy.

I’ve been living in London for 4 years and I’m currently working in Mayfair, MNKY HSE.

My experience in London started at Delfin School, where I found an amazing English language learning experience in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

At Delfin School I began to deepen my interest in teaching a foreign language and to understand that students learn English faster when they are having fun and experiment different and fun activities.

When I was studying in Italy, I used to study different languages (English, Spanish, German, French), I had few experiences abroad and every time I was taking classes in different countries I was getting to know different ways of teaching and engaging with the students.

What I like the most about teaching is to combine learning with entertainment.

I like to include activities like games, role-plays, quizzes. Be visive as well is essential (pictures, videos, presentations).

Learning through play in this way offers a meaningful way for children to have fun as they learn and develop.

I like to teach in an informal environment, read together on a daily basis and ask questions about the book, building key comprehension skills, growing their vocabulary.
