Hello! Thanks for clicking on my profile, I’m Beatrice and would love to help you reach your goals in French and English. I received an A in French at A-Level, a 9 at GCSE and continue to practice it daily and I am also equipped to teach English as a foreign language as I am currently studying for a degree in the humanities at the University of Bristol. I also have experience in mentoring students at the FT as I worked on improving the newspaper’s appeal with young people.

My lessons would first and foremost be led by you as I think this is most important to ensure we get the most out of our sessions. Once identifying your strengths and weaknesses, I would go through practice papers with you (particularly for GCSE French) as I feel this is the most effective way of improving your results. I also believe it is very important to practice conversational speaking when learning a language so I will always allocate some time just to chat to you in the target language. In order to keep you engaged, I will ask you what your general interests are whether it’s football, ballet, fashion or politics or anything in between so I can find articles and other materials in the target language on the topic we can try to understand together.
