My lessons will be conducted online via video call. These lessons will also be divided into two sections. The first will be an introduction to the key themes and ideas that will be adressed in each lesson. This section will use the more traditional teaching method in which I will provide you with information. I will use powerpoint and readings to aid lesson in this section. Following this, the second section will be more discussion based. I will ask questions based on the material covered in the previous section. These questions will also be designed based on your current level of education to ensure that you are comfortable and capable of tackling them to the best of your ability. I will also encourage students to ask their own questions in order to foster a sense of discussion rather than simply asking questions for the entire class.
I believe with Philosophy and Religious studies it is important to approach these topics with a rational mind and as such within my lessons we will examine key thinkers within the Religious and Philosophical movements such as Soren Kierekegaard.
I have tought classes previously in areas ranging from academic lessons to yacht racing. I have been studying History, Theology and Philosophy for several years and have recently just completed a year of study in Denmark in which I focussed on tutoring and Theology.
