I obtained a Primary Teachers' Certificate, a Higher Teachers' Certificate and a Bachelors Degree. I started teaching since 2000 and my classes have been interactive and engaging. I taught almost all categories of learners with the exception of nursery school. I strive for inclusiveness as I want to cater for the needs of the different ability of learners I am interacting with at any given time. I use the 21st century teaching strategies as I am opportune to acquire a certificate and diploma with Cambridge International examinations in the Professional Development Qualifications Programme.
I have been classroom teacher, subject leader, deputy head of academics, exams officer and tutor of late. I am also the Administrative Assistant for SBEC International College. I am quite passionate about teaching, and I do it as a passion to better the lives of every child through teaching and learning. I always want to make a difference in my classroom.
Furthermore, I have been an examiner with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Banjul Office, where I rose to the position of Assistant Chief Examiner. This part of my experience involved setting and moderating questions, marking and vetting exams scripts.
I believed my wealth of experience better shapes me to handle any situation I am confronted with in the teaching and learning arena. I look forward to a fruitful interaction with any potential student. It would also be an added experience to meet students from different parts of the world. What a great challenge awaits me!
