I am a very understanding student who is able to adjust to your child’s pace of learning. Additionally, I have previous experience tutoring a variety of students in my school who were all of different ability. I understand that everyone learns differently and would work with my student to find the way that suits them best alongside good ways of revision outside of lessons. I will also be available in case your child is finding any homework set by their school challenging. Furthermore, I will make lessons extremely interactive and enjoyable as I know that things can seem easier when you are having fun. My lessons will run as hourly lessons and you can decide how many hours you would like to book. I am flexible with timings as I know that a certain time on a specific day every week is not always achievable. Within my lessons, I may use presentations that I have made and worksheets that I have downloaded to help your child with their learning. Occasionally, I may do relaxed mini tests with your child to get a clear understanding on where your child is at ability-wise. When the lessons start, I will do a ‘do-now’ task which will contain a few questions on topics that we have previously covered to make sure that we are able to move on to a new topic. Your child can also request any topics that they would like to go over or let me know what topics they are covering in school that they need extra support with.
