I have taught both English and Arabic and gained extensive experience on how to focus on the learner with a great language awareness. My approach is based on the student centered class rather than the traditional language teaching which is based on the teacher centered class. Additionally, I use pictures and urge students to speak and participate by eliciting and encouraging them to practise individually and in pairs.
In addition to the the techniques I have mentioned above, I also know the first language interference problems from my previous language learning, this has helped me determine the difficulties encountered by the arabic language learners.
Never before have the language learning methods developed in such manner that learners of today are more than ever capable to overcome the impediments along the learning process.
