My lessons are firstly one thing, fun! I put so much importance on lessons being fun and engaging, or else what’s the point? You’re there to learn but also enjoy what you’re learning! My approach is individually tailored to you, what you need, and what I can give to you. No lesson is the same format wise: quizzes, textbooks, analogies, videos/diagrams/exam papers etc.

I have two degrees and a whole bunch of experience assisting within secondary schools teaching biology, chemistry, English lit and maths. I value the emphasis of independent learning, so often will give you work to complete outside the lesson in your own time. I look at what curriculum you’re being taught at school, if there’s anything particular you want to focus on. This is YOUR time and I always encourage my students to make the most of it by asking questions, going over things until they understand and anything else outside the lesson too!
