With my 1 year of tutoring experience, I have learnt that each lesson and each program needs to be altered to the needs to the children and what works best for them.

On one side, there are students who prefer visual depictions and diagrams to understand mathematical calculations and some others prefer written or auditory means of information. Every student is different and I am capable of altering my lesson plans for each individual student.

My lessons generally include planned lectures with practise questions, worksheets to be done and homework. I do use online resources as well to be able to give effective lessons.

I would appreciate the involvement of the students, actively participating and doing the assessments and homework. Parents are also always encouraged to be involved and encourage students to complete the work so the lessons run smoothly and queries are solved then and there.
