The lessons delivered vary to accommodate the need of the student to ensure they are learning in a way that works best for them whilst ensuring they achieve their academic goals - this usually involves interactive whiteboard sessions to teach the fundamentals behind the topic, a space for the student to ask questions before applying the knowledge to exam style questions. Whether the need for a maths tutor is just for additional support to achieve the grade wanted, or to cover a specific problem area, I am able to help whilst keeping in line with the school curriculum and the exam board. Alongside exam preparation, I can also support with homework and work with the student or just generic extra maths hours the student might need outside of school to stay ahead.
I have 3 years of experience in tutoring a range of age groups of different needs and support levels and most importantly I am very patient, willing to repeat explanations in various ways if need be and allow the student to ask as many questions they need to make sure they have truly grasped the topic and can independently answer those exam questions confidently.
