I am currently in my 2nd year of studying Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh. I am currently in my 2nd year of studying Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh. In Secondary School I achieved all A's in Nat 5 and Higher SQA Exams, including Math, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and English. I went from doing Higher's straight to University. During lessons, students can expect to be actively engaging with me throughout the duration of the lesson, instead of just being overloaded with information, I go through the curriculum in a systematic manner, ensuring that each topic is covered in depth. I love when students ask questions, even "silly" ones, as asking these questions is the only way for someone to learn a subject thoroughly, it also shows me where students may be struggling and allows me to go more in depth in certain areas of the subject. I also include a Q&A session at the end of each lesson, so that if students have any questions during the class they can ask me at the end, so there is always a chance for clarification and better understanding. At the beginning of each lesson I will ask students if there is anything they would like to go over from previous lessons OR topics that they have been learning in their school classroom. My lessons are interactive, and students have the opportunity to learn in a dynamic manner, different from the typical classroom setting, allowing them to benefit from having an experienced tutor who can give them their full undivided attention. I aim to cater to each students learning abilities, and requirements so that it is optimal for their learning experience. Aside from teaching, my warm and open personality, allows for students to be comfortable with me which in turn makes the learning environment more productive and efficient.
