lessons will start off with a mini starter to get into the mindset and begin focusing. Then I will help you reinforce your skills with analysing and interpreting texts, for older years, as well as creative writing practice and comprehensions for younger years.

For maths we will begin with easy to medium difficulty style questions on the topic we will be covering for the lesson.

Please note that I will not be teaching things from scratch but helping you solidify and improve what you may already know.

Lessons will be largely your active involvement and sharing different methods and ideas to a certain problem- I believe there is always more than one answer to a question!

Throughout the lesson we will look at some exam skills (mainly for 11+ students but can also help those taking SATs at the end of primary school).

I will set homework at the end of the lesson based on what I think needs improvement so we can start off strong next lesson. Submitted homework from the week before will be reviewed at the start of the next lesson with feedback.
