Hello, I am a recent graduate from the University of Kent, who has graduated with a first class with honours in Physics, and will be looking to attend UCL in the summer to complete a masters in Physics with a specialisation in Robotics. Hoping one day to complete a PhD in this field.
I like my students to understand the physical meanings of any work they do, so they know the content they learn will be put to use in life, this is one of the main frustrations I had found in my earlier studies. I believe a deeper understanding and appreciation of anything they learn will cement this knowledge further in them.
Physics has been a great interest of mine since a young child, from reading my first book about space and earth by Nirmala Nataraj to my first successful assembly of an autonomous robot and from then I have had the luck to be able to pursue my dream, and I hope in tutoring any student I can help them follow their paths.
My tutoring methods consist of tailoring each session to how a particular student learns. From my experience of over 350 lessons, I learnt that no student learns the same so knowing how they function from the first lesson allows me to adjust and personalize each session. Exam questions go a long way however, I prioritize understanding over memorisation which is a core belief of mine.
