Avaneesh Singh

My academic achievements and my current first class, MEng engineering degree programme, empowers me to tutor Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to a high level for KS3 and GCSE students. I am friendly and bring a calming enthusiasm to learning by making my approach to teaching student centric in combination with my deep understanding of subject knowledge and concepts. This has helped me mentor students in achieving top grades in their GCSEs and show impressive progress in grades within KS3.

My state-educated background allows me to connect with students of diverse abilities and needs. I aim to help students understand underlying concepts and the "why?" behind them rather than merely following a process they may not fully understand. This combines effective exam strategies with a deeper exploration of the syllabus to foster a broader appreciation for the subject.

I pride myself in being empathetic and i see the importance of realising that every student is different, so catering my lessons to their needs helps them achieve their full potential whilst making my lessons as engaging and efficient as possible. I value the student's as well as the parent's time and try to make the most out of each lesson.

I have been tutoring for many years now and have a lot of experience with showing these traits.
