I have been teaching English as a second language for the past 3 years .I hold a degree in English Linguistics and 120 hr Tefl Certificate.I taught from Kindergarten to primary level.I taught in Thailand and also in China.I have vast experience with teaching English as a Second language.I use Power point presentation for my classes and I am very experienced in Microsoft Word.My goal is to encourage and train students to build study habits at school and home.I include discussions and games in my classroom to help students engage with each other or with me their teacher .For younger students I try to use music as it easily draws their attention and helps students learn fast.I would describe my Esl class in this way.I usually start with a warm up song, present the topic eg animals ,present the flash cards in form of PowerPoint presentation get the kids to repeat three times with me . Then practice on their own, introduce a game and practice more .To keep the students engaged in learning,I will definitely present something they can relate to in their day to day lives like music and trending topics on the internet and movies.I love to prepare my lessons in advance.My most motivation in teaching kids English as a second language is how kids are honest and can easily understand.I would bring a more fun and interesting experience in my classroom.
