Welcome, I am Austin Laskowski.

I have taught biology for over 6 years and have experience working in public schools with multiple students per year. My students have ranged from academic achievers to students who struggled with basic concepts. I enjoy helping all students learn so that they can not only learn this content, but take tools with them so they can be successful in any other content in or out of school. I have achieved the highest student grade point average over the last 6 years within my school and district.

My classroom and lessons are catered to what you need. Always feel free to ask questions at any moment so that I can help you build your understanding.

A typical lesson, you will be asked to complete a few prompts to begin the lesson. This is to gauge what your prior knowledge is, or it could be a provoking question to gather your input on the main topic of discussion.

During the lesson, you can expect a variety of mediums from videos, notes, etc. I prefer to engage and discuss with my students throughout the lesson to help make connections with content.

Closing out a lesson, we will always end in a review of the main points of the topic in various ways. Of course, time for more questions will be provided to achieve clarity by the end of the lesson.
